Abstract (up to 300 words to describe your proposal): I'm active in Commons from 2004, have more than 40.000 own pictures there, who are used +20.000 times in the projects of Wikimedia. We have in Europe, especially in German, Austria, Latvia and the European Parliament numerous experiences in photographing politicans and other celebrities. This experiences we can export to other countries and languages. This lecture will be an introduction and show the typical problems. "Wiki loves parliaments" can be realize in all countries, we have in summary more than 23.000 photos created so far, who are used +15.000 times in our projects. The rules also apply to studio photography of athletes or artists. It is relatively easy, you need a flash system and have to guide the photographers once, then everyone in his own country organize. It is not sufficient to send a lightning system to a place, you have to be able to use it. I would like to encourage this and convey the photographic content in the lecture. The concrete technical basics must then be explained on the concrete situation.

What will attendees take away from this session?: Photographers should learn how to deal with celebrities, which is to be observed with such pictures. How to adjust the camera, which is much different than with architecture or nature photos. How do you deal with problems? How to handle complicated persons? How do I dress correctly? All these questions are to be resolved - and as an addition the offer, once in any countries guide volunteers in the operation of a flash system.
