Talk:Submissions/Finding and evaluating sources for Canadian music articles

Latest comment: 7 years ago by Geraldshields11 in topic Tool Kit
  • Primary target group: All.
  • Critical issue: Reasonably (notability concerns). Articles on contemporary music are often poorly sourced while possibly notable.
  • Cross-Wiki significance: Major
  • Abstract: Concise, and demonstrates that this topic is one that while not frequently discussed, is one that needs attention to establishing the kind of reliable sources that support such articles.
  • Concept: sufficiently broad to concern all language Wikpedias, and may well find significant resonance among those who are required to review and/or patrol such articles and offer advice to their authors.
  • Other: IMO strong candidate for a short list for presentations. Will foster further post-conference on-Wiki discussion on the topic. May well complement (but not duplicate) other proposed presentations on the quality control of new articles.

Tool Kit

Sounds like a better tool kit for an edit-o-thon focused on musicians. Geraldshields11 (talk) 14:56, 21 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
