- Thanks for the comment! This is a good tool in specific situations. If you have, say, 50 media files or more with varied metadata, then Pattypan will probably be faster than the Upload Wizard. And if media files are already available online, or are of a specific type (Pattypan can only handle certain file types), GWToolset is still required. So no, Pattypan should not be THE standard tool, and was not intended as such. Rather, it fills a gap in upload methods and is easy enough to use for GLAM professionals and Wikimedians to learn in a limited amount of time. Let me know if that answers your question!
